Multi-site operators
Austin office, Dallas yard, Houston warehouse, and a handful of remote roles. The directory is how you see who belongs where without a second roster.
People directory
Name, job, site, manager, documents, and status sit on a single file. The directory is how you find someone — not a Friday export from payroll.
Why it matters
Peerroll treats the employee file as the system of record. Legal name and preferred name, employment type, worksite, manager, start date, and status live together. Approvals, punches, leave, and documents hang off that file so a promotion or site change does not orphan the rest of the history. The opening they were hired from lives on hiring. Inviting someone is on that same file — a set-password link to the work email when mail is configured, or a copy-link when it is not.

Directory
On the record
How it runs
01
Add people by hand or import a starter list. Set site and manager first so later workflows have a home.
02
Job changes, site moves, and status updates happen on the record. The directory reflects them the same day.
03
Time, PTO, documents, and onboarding read from the same person. You stop reconciling three versions of a name.
Who uses it
Austin office, Dallas yard, Houston warehouse, and a handful of remote roles. The directory is how you see who belongs where without a second roster.
When the person who “knew everyone” is out, the file still has manager, start date, and employment type.

Hiring board
Operators post a role. Applicants sit on that opening. You move them through a simple pipeline. That is a light ATS: openings and a board. Not sourcing, not a career site, not a full recruiting product.
Invite email
Operators invite from the roster. When mail is configured, Peerroll sends the set-password link to the work email on the file. When mail is off, you copy the link and hand it over. This is invite and system mail — not a marketing list.
Org chart
The tree is built from the manager on each employee file. Search a name, expand or collapse a branch, switch to a list on a phone, and click through to the record.
Documents
Offer letters, handbooks, I-9 packets, and signed acknowledgements attach to the employee. Access follows the same roles as the rest of the product.

An HRIS is the employee record, the clock, and the leave policy in one place. What a small team actually needs — and what Peerroll does not pretend to be.
