First weeks that used to slip
Laptop, accounts, tax forms, and a first 1:1. If any of those miss, the checklist still shows it.
Onboarding and offboarding
Day-one access, equipment, tax forms, and a first-week plan should not depend on whoever remembered the wiki. Offboarding is the same problem in reverse.
Why it matters
Peerroll checklists have owners by role: manager, IT, people ops, the employee. Due dates follow the start date or last day. Tasks do not disappear into email. When the work is done, the checklist closes — not when someone archives a thread. The opening they were hired from lives on hiring. Reminders when a task is due or late live on onboarding workflows. The last-day list itself lives on offboarding. New hires see remaining onboarding cards on Me, next to the documents they still need to sign.

On the record
How it runs
01
Start date or last day writes to the record. The checklist appears with owners already assigned.
02
IT, the manager, people ops, and the employee each see their tasks. Nothing is “someone else’s email.”
03
Open items stay visible until they are done. The file keeps the history.
Who uses it
Laptop, accounts, tax forms, and a first 1:1. If any of those miss, the checklist still shows it.
Collect the badge, cut the accounts, keep the personnel file. Offboarding is a list, not a rumor.
Related
Hiring board
Operators post a role. Applicants sit on that opening. You move them through a simple pipeline. That is a light ATS: openings and a board. Not sourcing, not a career site, not a full recruiting product.
Offboarding checklists
Last day writes a checklist. Collect the badge, cut the accounts, keep the file. Owners by role. Remaining work stays visible. This is a task list on exit — not a full IT offboarding product.
Onboarding workflows
Hire checklists assign work. Reminders fire when a task is due or late. That is the workflow: a list, an owner, a nudge. Not a full automation suite.
E-sign packets
People ops builds an onboarding packet from templates — offer letter, handbook, I-9 acknowledgement. The employee signs in Peerroll. The file shows sent, signed, or still open, with a trail.
Tell us your headcount and what you run today. We will write back from hello@peerroll.com when we can show you the product.
