Operators who still send a Friday file
Elena closes the week. Finance needs hours by Monday. The export is approved time and approved PTO — not a rebuild from twelve chats.
Payroll hours handoff
Managers close the week. Operators export approved hours and approved PTO to the payroll system the employer already uses — CSV or an API payload. Peerroll does not run payroll.
Why it matters
Peerroll holds the clock and the leave request. When the week closes, approved hours and approved PTO can leave as an export or an API handoff to the payroll tool you already run. That is the job. We do not calculate tax, we do not move deposits, and we do not replace the payroll system you already pay. Pending punches and pending leave stay out until a manager signs them. The payload is the person, the hours, the leave codes, and the week — so payroll does not have to guess. Saved hours or leave reports you run again next Monday live on custom reports.

Send to payroll
Approved hours and approved PTO only. No tax calc. No deposits.
On the record
How it runs
01
Managers approve exceptions and leave. The week closes against the employee record — the same trail as the punch.
02
Operators export approved hours and approved PTO. Pending time is not in the file. You see who is ready and who is still open.
03
Download a CSV or post an API payload to the payroll system you already run. Peerroll does not calculate tax or move money.

You are not shopping for a new check printer. You need the hours to leave cleanly so the system you already pay can run.

Custom reports
Operators save a cut of roster, hours, or leave they already run. Run it again next Monday. Optionally put it on a schedule. This is not a BI tool.
Time and attendance
Clock in and out with device, source IP, and location on the punch. Exceptions stay visible to the manager who has to sign them.
PTO and time off
Accrual rules, request workflows, and balances live on the person. Managers approve what they can see. Operators set a policy once.
Manager tools
Managers get the queue they already run: time exceptions, leave requests, and who is out. Birthday dates stay on the file — not a company-wide calendar.
